for asdaf

after checking in and some wardrobe organising,

we raided mydin wholesale emporium pulak

the best thing about staying in jalan masjid india is, everything is so convenient

well, it is not next to klcc, twin towers though we had a good half view of the twin towers from our hotel room.

but it is so right at home

the weekly saturday pasar malam along jalan tuanku abdul rahman was just a less than 2 minute walk away from our hotel

jakel textile was just next door to our hotel (foot count....tak sampai 30 tapak dah sampai!!)

butik ariani (selling quality tudung and selendang) is just opposite our hotel

all that got me dizzy till i managed to put myself back in perspective

~ why am i here?

~ my purpose being??

~ all this for who???

again, thanks to teeya for choosing the place

again, Allah is the best planner

for i couldn't imagine carrying the hordes of heavy filled plastic bags any longer than 3 minutes!!

i felt like my arms are going to break

of course, we carried within ourselves the intention of doing all these ~ all for Asdaf and Allah

so may Allah lighten our loads.

so He chose this place for us and lightened our loads

MasyaAllah, Subhanallah hi wa bi ham dihi

we bought all those things which needed to go into the care bags at mydin.

what did i tell you, is mydin convenient or what :

bath towel

hair shampoo

body shampoo

tooth paste

tooth brush

talcum powder

stationery (pencil, pen, eraser, ruler, pencil case, colour pencil, crayon, sharpener, scissors, stationery holder etc)

4 electrical standing fans (3pcs at RM135 each + 1pc at RM155)

items for sunday's activities with the children of asdaf (coloured paper, glue, marker, yarn etc)

gummies

chocolate bars

chocolate eclairs

tiger biscuits

(balance fund from the purchase : RM1444 was given to asdaf directly)

i am sure the rest of the sisters on this trip shared the same sentiment as me ~ we could never thank enough all the sisters and brothers in Islam for their generosity and contribution to the asdaf fund

done with shopping we were approached by a peddler outside of the crowded mydin emporium

"ketiak hitam boleh korek,

mau gosok? mari sini"

well what was i expecting? this isn't klcc or pavilion wat....

don't ask me what was he trying to sell us, we couldn't stop laughing at that one all the way to our hotel room.

.bummer.

after maghrib at about 8pm and 5 hungry tummies,

we raided the long awaited pasar malam pulak

pasar malam jalan tuanku abdul rahman where the glorious food beckoned for us to savour

wafa asked for keropok lekor

busu bought mee hoon bakso for the both of us

nur hidayah aka kakak norl (only my family calls her that) bought a finger and toe licking good chocolatey fudge moist cake - we didn't get enough of that one, really.

what made it doubly syiok was the fact that the seller only slapped the yummy fudge over the cake there and then when somebody ordered

fullamak, power gedebak!

kakak norl also bought deep fried spring bird (puyuh/quail), 3 pcs for RM10

i bought pizza with the dough so masyaAllah

bought a caramel souffle, rectangular murtabak wrapped with popiah skin and deep fried, and more keropok lekor as the 1st one dah habis bersih dikerjakan oleh wafa

air kelapa jangan lupa....

all those we savoured in the comfort of our hotel room

ala-ala peace dinner gitu (makan damai)

after dinner it was night shift work for us hahaha

time to get things going on what goes inside each of the care bag

this is where the extra space came in handy as we needed all the space that we had (which was really not that much spacious in the 1st place but just nice, thank God) in order to organise the stuffs.

wafa was the most helpful until she received a couple of chiding from me and kakak norl

hahaha, i guess the chiding privilege is exclusive to family members only cos busu and atifah were apparently so cool about it.

okay, aper sajer...heheh

one hour after that and short of few tote bags, toothbrushes, lost and found rulers, we found wafa quietly snoozing away on the bed.

hhmmmm....ntah biler budak tu tertido

the end of tv3's cerekerama also spelt the end of us
