kl & asdaf
i am starting to write again, on this blog of mine
just needed an outlet to vent or rather talk/muhasabah with me, myself and i
last week's 1st ever asdaf trip was great
alhamdulillah
at the last minute, our dear sister kak lynn couldn't make the journey with us as she was hit with the flu bug
also at the last minute i thought of bringing my lil girl along
when i sounded that to her, she was simply ecstatic
but her brother wasn't
he cried, didn't want to let her go
both of them went back and forth, back and forth
the sister would say "abang afiq selalu bully wafa, always beat my buttock, i don't like so let me get away lah....wafa needs to rest you know"
ewah ewah.....
so i had to step in, talked some sense into the brother
the brother even willingly took out money from his savings, to pay for a bus ticket ride to kl lah
but since it was at the last minute and kak lynn didn't go, i only had 1 ticket to spare and since it was an all-female affair, i figured wafa was the best candidate.
she promised the sky and heaven for me ~ that she would be in her best behaviour, would never cause any distress to her ibu
overall rating??
alhamdulillah, she kept her promise and displayed her utmost best behaviour
short for 1 or 2 scenes when she appeared over the top, the rest was A-okay.
i was proud of her, she was like an ever ready employee.
ever too willing to help organise the stuffs that went into the carebags project.
she took care of herself well, just i figured she would.
her father was just over-worrying for her, that's all
so we set off on a grassland coach from golden mile complex at 11.30pm
stopover at yong peng and couple of epok-epok sardin, tuna cheese sandwich and hot milo later, we reached puduraya at 5am
oh did i mention the 2 anak daras slept all the way right after the m'sia customs?
only busu and i woke up at the stopover
the coach was that comfortable, amazing
thanks to hub for getting us the bus tickets
it was so good that right after we boarded the bus at golden mile my boy phoned me at my mobile and said "ibu, biler kiter boleh naik bus macam gitu?"
insyaAllah anakku, soon.
upon reaching puduraya and after a RM20 rip-off for 10minutes clear (no traffic at all, it was 5am by the way!) ride to Jalan Masjid India, we gatecrashed to teeya and her mom's room at garden city hotel (our room would only be ready in the afternoon)
after solat fajr, we relaxed and basically just lazed on their beds (tak tau malu betol).
when the outside was a bit brighter, we walked to nearby foodstalls to grab some breakfasts.
i had roti canai kosong and telur and iced milo ~ sodap!
tapao the same thing for the 2 anak daras and 1 anak dara sunti
a little more rest after breafast in the hotel room and then it was 9.30.
after a brief shower, busu, myself and wafa made our way to puduraya again - had to purchase a return ticket for wafa and i couldn't stop supplicating that there would be some empty seats in the same return bus.
it was my bad actually.
initially i told teeya to purchase only 4 return tickets, now that kak lynn had not been able to go.
but by the time i thought of bringing wafa and the headcount was back to 5 of us, teeya had already bought 4 return tickets.
this, i didn't inform the husband lest he panicked tak tentu pasal and would not allow my girl to come along with me to kl
sorry sayang, bukan tak nak terus terang tapi dun want you to worry, that's all
sure enough, alhamdulillah my prayer was answered.
managed to secure 1 ticket for wafa, though the seating arrangement was not near the tickets bought earlier, but busu readily offered to occupy that seat so that i could seat next to wafa.
may Allah reward her kind intentions.
Amin!!
busu and i had actually planned to ride on the lrt to puduraya
but let's just say we got a bit lost and hailed a cab instead. :)
then from pudu we took lrt to bukit bintang but not before we missed the train stop where we actually had to alight in order to enroute to bukit bintang
a few blur moments later and we found ourselves in bukit bintang
hhhmm.....you have to add few more blur moments later and asking around to get us to bukit bintang plaza
the rest of the ladies were already waiting for us at bukit bintang plaza
busu had made a reservation for some book at MPH
spent longer moments at MPH
got for afiq an english-malay dictionary for less than RM14
i was so throat-dried up by that time
busu bought iced lemon tea for me for RM11 at starbucks!!!
i sort of like chided her for buying such an expensive drink..might as well walked to 7-11 and bought 5cans of soft drinks at that price.
but busu being busu kan...she must have took a pity on me, seeing me in that dried-up state...wahakakaaa.
love you busu, for Allah's sake
next we walked to berjaya times square
this time we raided Borders
spent a good hour or so at borders
masing masing kalau dah nampak buku macam ngotot gitu
i bought for afiq a book on learning how to play a yoyo and it came with a real yoyo as well!
also bought another book on mythical beasts and that one came with a board game as well...boys stuff
all those 2 for RM50, not bad huh.
after more browsing and more buying of books by the rest of the sisters, we took a cab back to the hotel
we finally checked into our own room on the 2nd floor
the room we had was slightly bigger, comfortable for the four and half of us, oh well 5 of us lah, wafa is not a baby anymore.
Allah indeed knows best and is the best planner of all. of course He knows we did need the extra space. why? i would explain later.
