broken camera = dig deeper into the pocket

it is official -

our barely 2 month old fujifilm digital camera has suffered a broken lens

what's worse is that it's not the outer lens but the inner lens that is broken,

thus every picture taking effort will be prompted with "FOCUS ERROR" on the lcd display

apparently our niece accidentally dropped the camera on the carpet floor

but the camera dropped at an awkward angle, thus causing the inner lens to break

innalillah

his royal highness brought the cam to fujifilm's service centre at ubi

1 week later which was last week, the fujifilm's staff confirmed that the lens can be fixed -

at the price of a whopping S$230!

whoa....that's as good as getting a brand new cam of the same brand, same model for S$249 at mustafa!

so that's exactly what his royal highness did

we purchased another one at mustafa last thursday

we had to get the same model since we had the underwater casing for it.

kalo beli lain model then underwater casing tu nak buat aper......buat showcase??

so now we have 2 fujifilm's F40d digital cameras on our hands

hub said he will still get the lens fixed eventually, jika ada kelebihan rezeki

insyaallah

till then......can't wait to have fun with the camera underwater

so watch out eel, hawkbill, parrotfish, grouper.....dress in your best

for we're going down to put our camera to test!
