a mother's promise

syukur alhamdulillah

we finally did it tonight

a promise made is a promise fulfilled

making 'em brownies with heiress was rejuvenating

therapy for her mother too

seeing her jumping with joy at the sound of the mixer

her joyous look thru and thru while decorating those brownies

with her choice of m&m minis and coloured dots

and

of course, who could ever missed licking the

'belen-belen' mixture from the big bowl

classic, that one

i remember never missing that last part when i was a child

peeking into the big bowl, stealing a lick or two the second mak looked away

and my did i really clean up the bowl real good!
terribly awesome!

and as these picture will tell ya,

i managed to snap out of the melancholic mood i was having earlier

power of brownies

altogether managed to make total of 3 trays and 5 muffin cups of brownies

gave 1 tray to guru ngaji kiter....none other than my lovely sis-in-law

sort of like a birthday gift for her eldest son whose birthday is tomorrow
