i can't believe it
my beloved heiress has finally graduated
graduated kindergarten II lah.....
P1 awaits her next year
next year she will be 7
"sekolah betul, bukan sekolah makan" is what we used to say
tomorrow will be her primary school orientation but she is more excited over her graduation concert this coming sunday
you see, she has a dance item to perform - ali baba and the fourty thieves
guess who she'll be....ali baba? kassim baba? marjina? nope nope nope
she is one of the fourty thieves. ai ai cip! cip kodok...kiter tengok siapa yang kenaaa!!
at home, she has been practising her dance steps earnestly all the time
tengok tv lansing, tengah makan pun lansing, nak masok bilek termenung pun lansing, lampu padam nak titon pun lansing atas katil...pendek kater celik mater, lansing lansing lansing
jangan dah tiber maser teros kaku kat atas stage...hah ko, jawab. maklum, si dekni ada rekod
today her abah went to the parent teacher session and collection of her progress record book at the mosque.
sedih i can't go...my colleague has a meeting to attend and so i can't take leave
but definitely will grill the husband later for updates from a to z. heh
looks like this weekend will be another busy days for us
fri nite - halaqah
sat - p1 orientation and purchase of books, uniform for heir as well
sun - k2 graduation concert at al-iman mosque. can't wait to watch heiress performs
tot of squeezing a movie (read : beowulf) and late supper with his royal highness...agak agak sempat ker ek?

oh, recently i've been training these 2 kiddos to address themselves abang long and kak ngah respectively
all along heir calls himself afiq, while heiress will call heir abang afiq only after being reminded by us many a times. otherwise she'll call him just by name

and i totally dislike that.
personally, to me it is disrespectful to be calling an elder just by name especially when he or she is your own sibling
but i can't put the blame entirely on heiress cos we all follow by example

all this while hubby and i call heir just by name or abang afiq most of times

in fact everyone calls him by his name

so likewise his sister pun syiok lah call him afiq

ewah ewah ini tak boleh jadik man..

thus, from now on we call them along and kak ngah
ikot cara bagaimana mak bapak sayer ajar kiter 6 beradik

panggilan i....classy you...segan ah nak cakap

oh well..my side of nieces and nephews, they all call me MAK BUSU

heeee..i know, very the black and white dat one

i prefer to call it retro

tapi respect beb, respect.....itu yang penting
i promoted heiress to kak ngah to prep herself....yerlah, nanti kalau dah ada adik, dia jadik kak ngah lah

hehee

also to give her a sense of worthiness, tak lah sentiasa jadi adik ajer...kener buli ngan abang long. i am confident it is never too late to put this into practise with the kids

maklum, it's not SOP at his side of family

oh oh...hrh just called. he just ended the parent teacher meeting with heiress's class teacher
her class teacher said she follows instructions well and is good in her mathematics (all those kumon efforts are worth it, as in heir's year end maths results too....alhamdulillah)
she also mentioned that at time heiress tend to wander off and khayal

mater ke lain telinga ke lain....mater tak tengok cikgu tapi biler cikgu dia tegur and ask questions eh eh si budak ni boleh jawab dengan betul pulak
her teacher describes wafa as being one of its kind - the unique and endangered species

...ker dangerous species?? mak aii....
