what a week it has been. weekend was tiring but great! my abode was filled with wonderful guests - my sis's buddies from sepang, kl. there were altogether 11 of them including sis and family. they came on late saturday afternoon. her royal highness had it all figured out. main menu of the day was ITALIANO, simple yet satisfying - creamy chicken with mushrooms, pasta bolognaise with meatballs, chilled potato salad, garlic bread and to top it off was freshly baked chocolatey fudgey brownies for dessert and watermelons to cool it all off. now if that's not power, i don't know what else is.

then hubby and i took them out on exploration S'pore! we went public that day. took 190 to scotts road. then took the train to geylang and the train again to lavender. closing finale of the evening was BONE STEAK at beach road lah..aper lagik. at last semua tersadai kat depan golden mile complex having waited for cabs which never came. finally hubby decided to call for cabs rather than waiting for the cabs to come. what time did we end it all? it was close to midnite.

breakfast menu was prepared by who else but mak esah and bibik. so theme was back to basics - kampong fried rice, fried sukun dipped with mak esah's home made sambal cuka plus ain's fabu-tastic chix n cheese popiah. power to the max babe...
