Alright guys. The story goes like this.
I was stuck in the office till about 7pm. What else, work! papers! work! papers! My table is no different from a pig-sty, seriously!!

At the last minute when I was about to hitch a ride home with Christine, Ernest - my Mgr suggested that we should pay our Aussie Big Boss's wife a visit. You see, Big Balls, oops..Big Boss's wife got herself caught up in a trip and fall incident last night. So yeah, it's kinda like paying her a courtesy visit to see whether she's aye-o-k. Oh might as well, since I'll reach home late anyway and no way I can make it to Kumon with the kids by 8pm so I agreed to go along. Unfortunately we had to abort the plan since Big Boss and wifey would rather not be disturbed tonight.

With the plan not materialising, I ended up in Ernest's blue Wish where he dropped me off along Bukit Timah Road.

I didn't notice it at 1st. I stood for a couple of minutes under the shelter of the bus stand when from the corner of my eye, I saw MAD JACK CAFE. Oh my God!! I am soooooo wanting to try out MAD JACK CAFE. I've been bugging The Husband to bring us to the cafe but biaserlah, as always..my pleas always fall to deaf ears. What else is new right?

Therefore ladies and gentlemen, tonight it was like Mad Jack Cafe has anticipated the arrival of Her Royal Highness. I can see the light......mothership has called out to me....LOL!

So, tunggu aper lagi...BEDALLAH!! Their signature fish n chips plus a can of coke set me back by S$9.10 and no service charge tao! Best part, fish n chips are fried crispy on the outside but succulent and juicy on the inside and tasted fresh...scrumptious. It was a nice, peaceful one-some dinner. I had no company but the al-fresco and fabulous food more than make up for the shortfall of a companion. That is just Perfect with a capital P. Whoo hooo!
