I always look forward to the monthly family gatherings. I am sure darling Nadia and many others in the kinship industry will attest to this, right people?
What is most gratifying is the fact that our little ones whom I call the new branch in the family tree are able forge a close bond with their fellow cousins. I do not want my children growing up not knowing their family roots. This to me, is a very important aspect in life. They need to bond, love and preserve the family line. They need to carve in their hearts the true spirit of camaraderie.

For if a calamity happens to me or my other half, I know my offsprings can hang on to the other branches. That's what family is all about.

Taking inspiration from that notion, that was how our monthly gatherings came about. At first it was a simple gathering of sorts. Apart from contributing 50 bucks monthly into the BFF (Bank of Family Fund) and devouring the good food prepared by the host and some potluck, added to that effective from January this year we have introduced bithday celebrations for kins whose birthdays fall on that particular month.
Just imagine birthdays, gifts, food galore....simply joyful.

And I am soooo looking forward to the next month's gatering.

Rumah siapa pulak ek kali ni? Adakah akan menjadi kenyataan?

I am looking forward to June. I will have my gates and door open 'big-big' for all of my loved ones. We will celebrate my little gal's 6th birthday and anybody else whose birthday fall on the same month.

Gee, I better get ready for showtime!
